I am a man in this beautiful prison of a world, learning how to become the best man I can be. I am an artist and musician. A muslim who struggles to practice the correct way because of my own lack of self-discipline and the influence of others. I am a son who wants to see his parents succeed and live out their dreams.

I am no saint or devil but believe that a saint and devil demon spirit resides in all of us, and that we can choose to change which side we embrace the most. I have learned from my mistakes and understand that I will make more in the future, for that is human nature. I understand change is still in existence, even when our own actions and interpretations of the Life of This World prevents ourselves as well as others from seeing it.

It is our job to make sure the change is visible, even when others are so far rooted in doubt that they become blinded in their own misguided perceptions of how the world works and it’s purpose of creation. God says in the Qur’an “Never will he change the condition of a people until they change that which is within themselves.” Change starts with ourselves first and branches off to others.
